The Guinness Enterprise Centre (GEC) is celebrating 25 years as a cornerstone of Ireland's startup ecosystem, with their economic impact report revealing that its supported companies have generated €140 million in revenue last year, and a staggering €2.5 billion in total revenue since its inception. Currently home to 160 businesses, the "entrepreneurial superhub" continues to drive significant economic impact, contributing €31 million to the exchequer and supporting over 13,000 jobs annually. With resident start-ups projecting a 70% revenue growth in 2026—fuelled by breakthroughs in AI, healthcare, and sustainability—the GEC’s role in scaling international success stories from Dublin’s Liberties remains more vital than ever. We are especially proud of this success as Furthr is one of the founding organisations of the GEC, alongside Diageo, Dublin City Council, and Enterprise Ireland.
